Ingredients

  • 4 tbspGhee
  • 2 cupsMilk powder
  • 1/2 cupPowdered sugar
  • 1/2 cupMilk

  • as neededChopped pistachios
  • fewSaffron strands

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Add Ghee

    Add 4 tablespoons of ghee to a pan.

  2. 2.Add Dry Ingredients and Milk

    Add 2 cups of milk powder, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, and 1/2 cup of milk to the pan.

  3. 3.Mix Well

    Mix all ingredients well with a spatula until combined.

  4. 4.Cook and Thicken

    Stir the mixture continuously on a low flame. The mixture will gradually thicken.

  5. 5.Form Cohesive Mass

    Continue stirring until the mixture thickens and leaves the pan, forming a cohesive mass.

  6. 6.Cool Slightly

    Remove the pan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

  7. 7.Shape into Balls

    While the mixture is still warm, take a small portion and roll it into a smooth ball between your palms.

  8. 8.Mold Pedas

    Use a peda mould to press the ball and create a decorative peda shape.

  9. 9.Arrange Pedas

    Arrange the prepared pedas on a cooling rack or plate.

  10. 10.Garnish

    Garnish each peda with chopped almonds, pistachios, and a few saffron strands.
