Overview
Fullmeals is a public recipe site. You can browse recipes without signing in. Some features — saving favourites, posting comments and viewing your history — require you to sign in with Google or with an email one-time code. This page explains what we collect in each case, why, and who else touches that data.
What We Collect
Browsing anonymously. We record aggregate page-view analytics through Google Analytics, and our hosting provider logs standard request information (IP address, user agent, referrer) for security and debugging.
Submitting a YouTube or Instagram URL. We store the URL and any metadata returned by the source platform so we can generate the recipe. Anonymous submissions are not linked to an account.
Signing in. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile image and Google account ID. If you sign in with a one-time email code we store your email address. Either way we create a user record and a session so we can keep you logged in.
Interacting. Saved favourites and comments are stored against your user record so you can see them again and other users can attribute them.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small set of Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used in aggregate. We do not run advertising cookies or share cookies with ad networks.
Third-Party Services
A few external services process information on our behalf. The most important ones are listed below; each has its own privacy policy which governs how they handle the data we pass to them:
- Google — sign-in (OAuth), Google Analytics, and Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini) for recipe extraction.
- OpenAI — used for parts of the recipe generation pipeline.
- YouTube and Instagram — the source platforms for any video URL you submit.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and object storage (S3) for generated images.
We do not sell your data or share it with any third party beyond what these services need to do the job we've asked them for.
Generated Recipes
Recipes generated from submitted URLs are stored in our database so the site can serve them. Published recipes are public. Submissions themselves are stored as conversion jobs and are not linked to an individual user; if you were signed in when you saved or commented on a recipe, that action is linked to your account.
Children's Privacy
Fullmeals is a general-purpose cooking tool and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if our practices change. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
