Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Milk Mixture

    Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan. Add 1 cup of milk powder, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar, and 1/4 cup of milk. Stir continuously on low to medium heat to prevent lumps. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens and forms a dough that separates from the pan, which should take about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2.Combine with Cocoa Powder

    Transfer the thickened milk mixture to a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and combine well using a spatula until the mixture is uniformly brown and smooth.

  3. 3.Shape the Pedas

    Take a small portion of the chocolate mixture (about a tablespoon), roll it into a smooth ball, then gently flatten it between your palms. Make a small indentation in the center using your thumb or a spoon.

  4. 4.Garnish and Serve

    Place chopped pistachios into the indentation of each peda for garnish. Repeat the process for the remaining mixture. Your delicious Chocolate Pedas are now ready to be served.
