Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the bread

Spread peanut butter generously on one side of 2-3 slices of bread. Place another slice of bread on top of the peanut butter-covered slice to form a sandwich. Repeat for all slices.

Step 2: Prepare the egg mixture

In a bowl, crack 2 eggs. Add 1/4 cup fresh milk, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla essence, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder. Whisk the mixture well until all ingredients are combined and smooth.

Step 3: Soak the bread

Dip each peanut butter sandwich into the prepared egg mixture, ensuring both sides are fully coated. Let it soak for a few seconds on each side to absorb the liquid.

Step 4: Cook the French toast

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 2 tsp of melted butter and spread it evenly. Place the soaked peanut butter sandwich in the pan. Cook for until golden brown. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another until golden brown. Using tongs or a spatula, carefully cook all four sides of the French toast until they are also golden brown.

Step 5: Serve and garnish

Transfer the cooked French toast to a plate. Drizzle maple syrup or honey generously over the French toast. Garnish with fresh fruits like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and mint leaves. Optionally, brush some maple syrup on the fruits for extra shine and flavor.

Pro Tips

• Ensure the bread is well-soaked in the egg mixture for a soft interior.

• Cook on medium heat to achieve a golden brown crust without burning.

• Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

Recipe Variations

• Try different nut butters like almond butter or cashew butter.

• Add chocolate chips or banana slices inside the sandwich before cooking.

• Experiment with different spices like nutmeg or cardamom in the egg mixture.
