  • 1 cup, choppedRed Onion
  • 1 tbspGinger Garlic Paste
  • 2 cups, choppedTomatoes
  • 2-3 tbspOil
  • 1 cupWater

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Chicken Mix

    In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces, oil, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, fresh green chilies, salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and turmeric. Mix everything together thoroughly until the chicken is well-coated with all the ingredients.

    Place a large pot on the stove over a medium-high heat. Transfer the entire chicken mixture from the bowl into the pot.

  3. 3.Sauté the Mixture

    Stir and cook the mixture for 6-7 minutes, allowing the chicken to start cooking and the spices to become fragrant.

    Pour in 1 cup of water and stir to combine. Bring the curry to a simmer.

    Cover the pot with a lid and let the curry cook for 25 to 30 minutes.

    After 25-30 minutes, remove the lid. Continue to cook with the lid off for another 5-6 minutes to allow the gravy to reduce and thicken to your desired consistency.
