Sweet Salty Cheesy Sandwich - Quick Snack

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slicesBread slices
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 2 tspSugar powder
  • 1/4 tspCardamom powder
  • 2 slicesCheese slices

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Trim Bread Edges

Take 4 slices of bread (wheat flour bread was used in the video, but any bread can be used) and lightly trim their edges.

  2. 2.Prepare Butter Mixture

In a small bowl, add approximately 2 tablespoons of butter, 2 teaspoons of sugar powder, and a pinch of cardamom powder. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

  3. 3.Assemble First Sandwich

Place one trimmed bread slice on a hot griddle (tawa). Place one cheese slice on top of it, then cover with another trimmed bread slice to form a sandwich.

  4. 4.Apply Butter and Flip

Apply the prepared butter mixture generously to the top side of the sandwich. Using a spatula, carefully flip the sandwich to the other side.

  5. 5.Apply Butter to Second Side

Apply the butter mixture to the newly exposed top side of the sandwich.

  6. 6.Assemble and Butter Second Sandwich

Place the second sandwich (assembled similarly with bread and cheese) on the griddle alongside the first one. Apply the butter mixture to both sides of this sandwich, flipping once.

  7. 7.Roast Sandwiches

Initially, toast the sandwiches on high flame until the griddle is hot. Then, reduce the flame to low and continue roasting both sandwiches. Flip them occasionally until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides.

  8. 8.Turn Off Flame

Once the sandwiches have achieved a beautiful golden brown color and are crispy, turn off the flame.

  9. 9.Cut and Serve

Remove the cheesy caramel sandwiches from the griddle. Place them on a cutting board and cut them into your desired shapes, such as sticks or triangles. Serve immediately and enjoy!
