Crispy Potato Triangle Snacks

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2Boiled and mashed potato
  • 4 tbspBread crumbs
  • 1/2 tbspChilli flakes
  • 1/2 tbspBlack pepper powder
  • 1/2 tbspSalt
  • 1/2 tbspSesame
  • 2 tbspCoriander leaves

  • for fryingOil

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Potato Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the 2 boiled and mashed potatoes, 4 tablespoons of bread crumbs, 1/2 tablespoon of chilli flakes, 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper powder, 1/2 tablespoon of salt, 1/2 tablespoon of sesame seeds, and 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until a cohesive dough is formed, ensuring everything is well incorporated.

  2. 2.Shape the Dough

Lightly grease a flat surface or rolling board with 1/2 tablespoon of oil. Place the potato dough on it and gently flatten it into a uniform rectangular or square shape, about 1/2 inch thick. Use a knife to trim the edges to create a neat square. Then, cut the square into smaller squares, and further cut each small square diagonally to form triangle shapes.

  3. 3.Fry the Triangles

Heat sufficient oil in a pan over medium flame. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the potato triangles into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry the triangles, turning occasionally, until both sides are golden brown and crispy, which should take approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

  4. 4.Serve

Once golden and crispy, remove the fried potato triangles from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup or a creamy dip.
