  • 1/2 cupRoasted Channa Dal

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Gather Ingredients

    Gather all the necessary ingredients: 1 cup of frozen shredded coconut, 1/2 cup of roasted channa dal, 2 dried red chilies, a small piece of tamarind, salt to taste, 2 handfuls of curry leaves, and 1 1/2 cups of water.

  2. 2.Add Coconut to Blender

    Transfer 1 cup of frozen shredded coconut into a blender jar.

  3. 3.Add Roasted Channa Dal

    Add 1/2 cup of roasted channa dal to the blender with the coconut.

  4. 4.Add Spices and Seasoning

    Add 2 dried red chilies, a small piece of tamarind, and salt to taste into the blender.

  5. 5.Add Curry Leaves

    Add 2 handfuls of fresh curry leaves to the blender. These leaves will enhance the flavor and provide health benefits.

    Pour 1 1/2 cups of water into the blender with all the ingredients.

  7. 7.Grind the Chutney

    Blend all the ingredients for 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until a smooth paste is formed. Ensure there are no large chunks remaining.
