Take 250 grams of plain sweet cookies (such as Arrowroot biscuits). Crush them into fine crumbs using a blender, food processor, or by placing them in a bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
Add 1 cup of M&M's to the bowl with the crushed biscuit crumbs. Ensure the M&M's are well distributed throughout the crumbs.
Pour a 400-gram can of sweetened condensed milk into the bowl with the biscuit crumbs and M&M's.
Stir all the ingredients together until everything is well combined and forms a sticky, uniform mixture. Make sure there are no dry biscuit crumbs or unmixed condensed milk.
Grease and line a 25cm x 8cm slice pan with non-stick baking paper. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan. Using a spatula or your fingers, press the mixture out evenly across the bottom of the pan to form a compact layer.
Place the pan into a preheated oven at 160°C (approximately 320°F) (320°F (approximately 160°C)) and bake for approximately , or until the slice is lightly golden brown and set.
Once baked, remove the slice from the oven. Leave it in the tin for about to cool and firm up. After cooling, slice it into squares or rectangles and serve. The slice will be moist and chewy.
• Use a blender, food processor, or a bag and rolling pin to crush the biscuits into fine crumbs.
• Ensure all ingredients are thoroughly combined to avoid dry or sticky patches.
• Allow the slice to cool and firm up completely in the pan before slicing for best results.
• Substitute Arrowroot biscuits with Graham crackers (US), Rich Tea biscuits (UK), or Digestive biscuits (UK).
• Experiment with different types of candy-coated chocolates or chocolate chips.
