M&M's Slice - Easy Dessert

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 250 gramsPlain sweet cookies (e.g., Arrowroot biscuits)
  • 1 cupM&M's
  • 400 gramsSweetened condensed milk

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Biscuits

Take 250 grams of plain sweet cookies (such as Arrowroot biscuits). Crush them into fine crumbs using a blender, food processor, or by placing them in a bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.

  2. 2.Combine Dry Ingredients

Add 1 cup of M&M's to the bowl with the crushed biscuit crumbs. Ensure the M&M's are well distributed throughout the crumbs.

  3. 3.Add Condensed Milk

Pour a 400-gram can of sweetened condensed milk into the bowl with the biscuit crumbs and M&M's.

  4. 4.Mix Thoroughly

Stir all the ingredients together until everything is well combined and forms a sticky, uniform mixture. Make sure there are no dry biscuit crumbs or unmixed condensed milk.

  5. 5.Prepare and Fill Pan

Grease and line a 25cm x 8cm slice pan with non-stick baking paper. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan. Using a spatula or your fingers, press the mixture out evenly across the bottom of the pan to form a compact layer.

  6. 6.Bake the Slice

Place the pan into a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) and bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until the slice is lightly golden brown and set.

  7. 7.Cool and Serve

Once baked, remove the slice from the oven. Leave it in the tin for about 10-15 minutes to cool and firm up. After cooling, slice it into squares or rectangles and serve. The slice will be moist and chewy.
