  1. 1.Make Dents in the Bread

    Place two slices of bread on a cutting board. Use the bottom of a glass to press down on the center of each bread slice, creating a circular dent.

  2. 2.Butter the Bread

    Spread butter evenly on both sides of each dented bread slice.

  3. 3.Crack Eggs into Dents

    Carefully crack one egg into the dent of each buttered bread slice.

  4. 4.Season the Eggs

    Sprinkle salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the eggs and bread to taste.

  5. 5.Air Fry the Toast

    Place the prepared bread slices into an air fryer basket. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired yolk doneness.

    Carefully remove the cooked egg in a hole toast from the air fryer and serve immediately.
