Spicy & Creamy Leftover Bread Snack

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tbspGhee
  • 4Bread slices
  • 2 tbspSpecial orange sauce (as seen in video)
  • 2 tbspPizza & Pasta Sauce
  • 3 tbspVeg Mayonnaise (Eggless)
  • 2 tbspTomato Ketchup
  • 1/2Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum), large, chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Toast the Bread

Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a kadhai (wok) over low flame. Place 2 bread slices in the kadhai and toast them until lightly brown, pressing gently with a spatula. Flip and toast the other side until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining bread slices. Set aside.

  2. 2.Prepare Bread Pieces

Once cooled slightly, cut the toasted bread slices into small, bite-sized pieces. The video shows cutting the entire slice, including the crusts, into small pieces.

  3. 3.Prepare the Sauce Mixture

In the same kadhai, add 2 tablespoons of the special orange sauce, 2 tablespoons of pizza and pasta sauce, 3 tablespoons of eggless mayonnaise, and 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup. Add 1/2 chopped green bell pepper (capsicum).

  4. 4.Combine and Mix

  5. 5.Serve

Once the bread pieces are well coated and heated through, turn off the gas. The snack is ready to be served hot. Taste and enjoy!
