Heat 3 tablespoons of groundnut oil in a thick-bottomed kadai. Add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.

Heat a tawa (griddle) over medium heat. Spread about 15 grams of Hatsun butter on the tawa. Place a bread slice on the melted butter. one side until it's lightly golden brown, then flip and the other side lightly. The bread should remain soft and not become crispy. Repeat for all desired bread slices.
Take a bread slice and spread a generous layer of the prepared vegetable masala on one side. Gently press the masala onto the bread with a spoon to ensure the juices soak in, making the bread flavorful.
Stack the assembled masala bread slices on a plate. For best results, let them sit for to allow the flavors to meld and the bread to absorb the masala juices. Serve warm as a delicious evening snack.
