Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Combine Dry Ingredients and Initial Milk

In a small pot, add 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of corn starch, and 1/4 cup of milk.

Step 2: Mix and Cook on Low Heat

Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until combined. Place the pot on a stove and cook on low heat, continuing to mix.

Step 3: Add Remaining Milk and Continue Mixing

Add the remaining 1/4 cup of milk to the mixture. Continue to mix continuously on low heat until the mixture becomes smooth and more liquid.

Step 4: Add Butter and Achieve Thick Consistency

Add 1 teaspoon of butter to the mixture. Mix continuously until the ganache thickens to a glossy, spreadable consistency.

Step 5: Serve

Once the chocolate ganache has reached the desired thick consistency, remove it from heat and pour it into serving bowls. It is now ready to be used as a ganache or spread.
