Viral Cookie Tin – Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 90gmButter
  • 180gmBrown Sugar
  • 60gmMilk
  • 5gmVanilla
  • 110gmFlour
  • 5gmBaking Soda
  • 200gmDark Chocolate
  • 1/4 tspSea Salt
  • 20gmChoco Chips

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Dough Base

Add 90gm of butter and 180gm of brown sugar to a mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to combine them until fully incorporated and a smooth, creamy mixture is formed.

  2. 2.Add Wet Ingredients

Pour in 60gm of milk and 5gm of vanilla extract into the butter and sugar mixture. Whisk thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.

  3. 3.Incorporate Dry Ingredients

Add 110gm of flour and 5gm of baking soda to the wet mixture. Mix with a spatula until a smooth, cohesive dough forms.

  4. 4.Form Chocolate-Filled Cookies

Take a portion of the dough, flatten it in your palm, and place a piece of dark chocolate in the center. Carefully fold the dough around the chocolate and roll it into a smooth ball, ensuring the chocolate is completely enclosed. Each dough ball should be approximately 30gm.

  5. 5.Assemble in Tin

Grease a round baking tin and arrange the chocolate-filled cookie dough balls inside, pressing them gently to fill the tin. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt evenly over the dough balls. Add more dough balls if needed to fill any gaps.

  6. 6.Add Topping

Sprinkle 20gm of choco chips over the top of the cookie dough in the tin.

  7. 7.Bake the Cookie Tin

Preheat your oven to 160°C. Place the cookie tin in the oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown and cooked through.

  8. 8.Serve Warm

Carefully remove the baked cookie tin from the oven using oven mitts. Allow it to cool slightly before serving warm, revealing the gooey melted chocolate inside.
