Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.

  1. Prepare the mixed vegetable stuffing

Finely chop capsicum, onion, carrot, and cabbage using a food chopper or by hand. In a bowl, combine the chopped vegetables with 2-3 tbsp of Veg mayonnaise, 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup, 1/2 tsp of crushed black pepper, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of chili flakes. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. Prepare the paneer stuffing

In a separate bowl, combine 100g of cubed paneer with 1 tbsp of tandoori mayonnaise and 1 tbsp of Veg mayonnaise. Mix gently until the paneer is coated.

  3. Assemble the sandwich

Take three slices of bread. On the first slice, spread a thin layer of ghee or butter. On the second slice, spread a generous amount of green chutney. Spread the mixed vegetable stuffing evenly over the first bread slice (with ghee/butter). Place the second bread slice (with green chutney) on top of the vegetable-filled slice. Spread the paneer stuffing evenly over the green chutney layer. Arrange onion slices and tomato slices on top of the paneer stuffing. Place the third bread slice (optionally with ghee/butter) on top to complete the triple-layered sandwich.

  4. Grill the sandwich

Preheat a sandwich maker or grill. Apply ghee or butter to the grill plates. Carefully place the assembled sandwich onto the grill. Spread a little more ghee or butter on the top slice of the sandwich. Close the sandwich maker and grill until golden brown and crispy, approximately . Remove the grilled sandwich from the maker.

  5. Serve

Cut the sandwich diagonally into two halves. Serve hot and enjoy the soft, crunchy, and juicy layers.
