Into a jug, add 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 cloves of garlic, 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of oyster sauce, 1.5 tablespoons of sesame oil, and 1 cup of beef stock. Give it a good stir together, then set aside.

Put the lid back on and allow this to cook for another , or until the broccoli is tender.
Serve the succulent slow-cooked beef and broccoli with rice, noodles, or by itself.
