Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Banana

Peel the banana and place it in a bowl. Mash it thoroughly with a fork until it forms a smooth paste, ensuring no large lumps remain.

Step 2: Add Dry Ingredients

Add the all-purpose flour to the mashed banana in the bowl. Then, add the sugar and fennel seeds to the mixture.

Step 3: Add Milk and Mix Batter

Pour the milk into the bowl with the banana, flour, sugar, and fennel seeds. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly by hand or with a spoon until a smooth, consistent batter is formed. Ensure there are no dry pockets of flour.

Step 4: Heat Oil

Place a deep pan on a stove over medium heat and add enough oil for deep frying. Allow the oil to heat up until it's hot enough to fry (a small drop of batter should sizzle immediately).

Step 5: Fry Fritters

Carefully drop spoonfuls of the banana batter into the hot oil. Fry the fritters in batches, turning them occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through, which should take approximately per side.

Step 6: Remove and Serve

Once the fritters are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon. Place them on a tray lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
