Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Sauté Onions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add 2 chopped onions and fry until they turn golden brown, stirring continuously for approximately 1 minute.

  2. 2.Cook Tomatoes and Spices

Add 2 chopped tomatoes and 1 chopped green chili to the pan. Then, add 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, and salt to taste. 3. 3.Add and Cook Capsicum

Add the diced capsicum (approximately 2 medium-sized) to the pan. Mix it thoroughly with the prepared masala. Add some more water (approx. 1/4 cup). Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 2 minutes until the capsicum softens slightly.

  4. 4.Incorporate Kasuri Methi

Remove the lid and add 1 teaspoon of kasuri methi to the mixture. Mix it well into the capsicum and masala.

  5. 5.Add Paneer and Finish Cooking

Gently add the 200g paneer cubes to the pan. Mix carefully to coat the paneer with the masala. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of garam masala over the dish. Cover the pan again and cook for 1 minute to allow the flavors to meld.

  6. 6.Serve
