In a kadai, add 2 cups of grated jaggery and 3/4 cup of water. Cook on high flame, stirring continuously, until the jaggery melts completely.
Continue cooking the jaggery syrup on high flame until it thickens and forms a 'pak' (thick syrup). To check the consistency, drop a small amount of syrup into a bowl of water; it should form a firm ball when collected. This process takes approximately .
Once the jaggery syrup reaches the desired consistency, add 1-2 tablespoons of ghee to the kadai. Then, add the fried gram dal (puttani), roasted cashew pieces, grated dry coconut, cardamom powder, roasted chana dal powder, roasted moong dal powder, and roasted peanuts to the jaggery syrup.
Add 2 cups of puffed jawar (lahe) to the mixture. Turn off the gas and mix all the ingredients thoroughly with the jaggery syrup until well combined.
While the mixture is still warm, apply ghee to your hands. Take small portions of the mixture, press firmly, and roll them into round ladoos. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
