Italian-Herb Paneer Pepper Toss

Ingredients

Paneer Toss Ingredients

  • 600gmsPaneer Cubes
  • 2 tbspOlive Oil
  • 1 tbspChopped Garlic
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 tbspOnion Powder
  • 1 tbspMixed Herbs (Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Rosemary)
  • 1 tbspChilli Flakes
  • 2 tbspTomato Ketchup
  • 2-3 tbspChopped Parsley

Stir Fry Ingredients (Snack Peppers)

  • 300gmsSnack Peppers
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1 tbspLemon Juice
  • 1/2 tbspWhite Pepper Powder

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare Paneer

    Cut 600g paneer into desired shapes, such as triangles.

  2. 2.Sauté Garlic

    Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan. Add 1 tbsp chopped garlic and sauté until golden.

  3. 3.Season Paneer

    Add the cut paneer to the pan. Sprinkle 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp mixed herbs (oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary), and 1 tbsp chilli flakes over the paneer.

  4. 4.Toss Paneer

    Gently toss the paneer to coat it evenly with the spices. Be careful not to break the paneer.

  5. 5.Add Ketchup and Parsley

    After about 1 minute of cooking, add 2 tbsp tomato ketchup and 2-3 tbsp chopped parsley.

  6. 6.Finish Paneer

    Gently mix the ingredients and cook for another 2 minutes on medium flame until the paneer is well coated and slightly golden. Remove the paneer from the pan and set aside.

  7. 7.Prepare Snack Peppers

    Cut 300g snack peppers lengthwise and remove the seeds.

  8. 8.Stir Fry Peppers

    In the same pan with the leftover olive oil, add the cut snack peppers. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp salt, squeeze 1 tbsp lemon juice, and add 1/2 tbsp white pepper powder.

  9. 9.Cook Peppers

    Stir fry the peppers on high flame for 1 minute until they are slightly charred but still crunchy.

  10. 10.Assemble and Serve

    Arrange the cooked paneer and stir-fried snack peppers on a serving plate. Garnish with more fresh parsley if desired.
