  • 60 gBiscuits

For the Vanilla Flan

  • 500 mlMilk
  • 3 tbspSugar
  • 3 tbspCornflour
  • 2.5 tbspVanilla flan powder
  • 120 gVanilla yogurt

For the Fruit Topping

  • 100 g (approx. 1 cup chopped)Strawberries
  • 1 medium (approx. 150g)Apple
  • 1 medium (approx. 100g)Banana

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Biscuit Base

    Crush 60 g of biscuits into small pieces. Place 4 serving bowls on a tray and divide the crushed biscuits evenly among them, forming the base for each dessert.

  2. 2.Prepare the Flan Mixture

    In a saucepan, combine 500 ml of milk, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 3 tablespoons of cornflour, and 2.5 tablespoons of vanilla flan powder. Whisk the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.

  3. 3.Cook the Flan

    Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring continuously with a whisk, until the mixture thickens to a creamy consistency. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4.Add Yogurt and Pour

    Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in 120 g of vanilla yogurt until it is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth. Immediately pour the warm flan mixture evenly over the biscuit base in each of the 4 bowls.

    Allow the desserts to cool slightly at room temperature, then transfer them to the refrigerator to chill and set for at least 1-2 hours, or until firm.
