Chicken Cutlet – Easy Style

Ingredients

  • 300gGround Chicken
  • 1/2 cupChopped Onion
  • 2-3Green Chilli (chopped)
  • 1/2 cupFried Onion
  • 1/2 cupFresh Chopped Coriander
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspCoriander Powder
  • 1 tspTurmeric Powder
  • 1 tspChilli Powder
  • 1 tspCumin Powder
  • 3 tbspPlain Flour
  • 1Egg
  • for fryingRegular Oil

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Combine Ingredients

    In a mixing bowl, combine the 300g ground chicken, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 2-3 chopped green chilies, 1/2 cup fried onion, 1/2 cup fresh chopped coriander, salt to taste, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chili powder, and 1 tsp cumin powder. Mix all ingredients thoroughly by hand until well combined.

  2. 2.Add Egg and Mix Again

    Add 1 egg to the mixture. Mix again thoroughly to ensure the egg is fully incorporated and helps bind the ingredients.

  3. 3.Shape Cutlets

    Sprinkle some plain flour on a cutting board. Take a portion of the chicken mixture, roll it into a ball, then flatten it into an oval or round cutlet shape. Lightly coat both sides of the shaped cutlet with the plain flour.

  4. 4.Shallow Fry Cutlets

    Heat regular oil in a pan until it is boiling hot. Carefully place the shaped chicken cutlets into the hot oil. Shallow fry the cutlets on medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.

  5. 5.Drain Excess Oil

    Once the cutlets are golden brown and cooked, remove them from the pan using a spatula and place them on tissue paper to absorb any excess oil.

  6. 6.Serve

    Serve the hot chicken cutlets with your preferred accompaniments, such as cucumber slices, fresh coriander, or radish.
