  1. Prepare the base

    On a medium-high heat, add 20g of ghee to a pan and allow it to melt.

  2. Add dry ingredients

    Add 15g of coconut powder, 15g of almond powder, and 20g of sugar to the melted ghee. Stir well to combine the ingredients.

  3. Incorporate masala paste

    Add 70g of BIR masala paste to the pan and mix thoroughly with the other ingredients.

  4. Add chicken tikka

    Add 150g of pre-cooked chicken tikka to the pan. Stir for to ensure all the chicken pieces are coated in the sauce.

  5. Add base gravy

    Pour in 400g of pre-heated and diluted BIR base gravy into the pan with the chicken and sauce. Stir gently to combine.

  6. Simmer the curry

    the curry on a high heat for , stirring occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.

  7. Add cream

    Add 50ml of single cream to the curry. Stir it in until it's well incorporated and creates a smooth, creamy texture.

  8. Thicken and finish

    Turn down the heat to medium and for another until the sauce starts to thicken and the curry achieves an even red color.

  9. Serve

    Serve the British Indian Restaurant Style Chicken Tikka Masala hot with a side of rice.
