Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Combine Wet Ingredients

Add 3 eggs, a pinch of salt, and 150g of sugar to a large mixing bowl. Whisk until the mixture is light yellow and well combined.

Step 2: Add Butter and Milk

Pour 80g of melted butter into the egg mixture and whisk again until fully incorporated. Then, add 180ml of milk and whisk until smooth.

Step 3: Incorporate Dry Ingredients

Add 300g of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the wet mixture. Using a wooden spoon, gently mix until just combined and no dry streaks of flour remain.

Step 4: Fold in Apples

Add 2 diced apples to the batter and gently fold them in with the wooden spoon until evenly distributed.

Step 5: Prepare and Bake

Line a 16cm x 20cm loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour the apple cake batter into the prepared pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (≈355°F) (approximately 355°F) for , or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 6: Serve

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
