Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.
Take half of a medium-sized watermelon. Remove as many seeds as possible and cut the flesh into small pieces. Ensure the watermelon is sweet and red for the best juice.
Transfer the chopped watermelon pieces into a mixer grinder jar. Add a handful of fresh mint leaves, 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, and the juice of one small lemon. Also, add 1/4 teaspoon of regular salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black salt, 4-5 ice cubes, and 1/2 teaspoon of chaat masala. Pour in about half a glass (approx. 120ml) of chilled water. Close the lid and blend until smooth.
Once blended, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl to remove any remaining seeds or pulp, ensuring a smooth juice consistency. Use a spoon to press down and extract all the liquid.
Take two serving glasses. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of each glass. In a shallow dish, mix a small amount of sugar, salt, and a pinch of chili powder. Dip the rim of each glass into this mixture to create a decorative and flavorful rim.
Add a few small chopped watermelon pieces to the bottom of each prepared glass. Then, add 3-4 ice cubes to each glass. Carefully pour the strained watermelon juice into the glasses.
Top the juice with a few more small chopped watermelon pieces. Garnish each glass with a fresh mint sprig. Serve immediately and enjoy the chilled, refreshing watermelon juice.
