Sweet Peanut Butter Popcorn

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 60 grPopcorn kernels (air-popped, no oil/salt)
  • 50 grRaw Honey
  • 70 grPeanut Butter
  • 7 mlVanilla Essence

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare Popcorn

Prepare 60 grams of popcorn using an air popper, without adding any oil or salt. Set aside in a bowl.

  2. 2.Combine Peanut Butter and Honey

In a saucepan, add 70 grams of peanut butter and 50 grams of raw honey. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously, until both ingredients are fully integrated and dissolved into a smooth sauce.

  3. 3.Add Vanilla Essence

Once the peanut butter and honey mixture is smooth, add 7 ml of vanilla essence and stir well to combine.

  4. 4.Coat Popcorn

Transfer the peanut butter and honey mixture to a larger bowl. Add the prepared popcorn to this bowl and mix thoroughly using a spatula or spoon until all the popcorn pieces are evenly coated with the sweet mixture.

  5. 5.Prepare for Baking

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the coated popcorn evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring it forms a single layer to prevent sticking and promote even baking. If making a larger batch, use multiple trays or bake in batches.

  6. 6.Bake the Popcorn

Preheat your oven to 140-150°C (284-302°F). Bake the popcorn for 10-12 minutes. The creator recommends 10 minutes for the ideal flavor and texture.

  7. 7.Cool and Serve

Once baked, remove the popcorn from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes. This allows the coating to harden slightly. Once cooled, it's ready to serve or store.
