  • 1/2 cupRoasted Peanuts
  • 1 medium, finely choppedOnion
  • 1 medium, finely choppedTomato
  • 1 no., finely choppedGreen Chilli
  • a handful, finely choppedCoriander Leaves
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspRed Chilli Powder
  • 1 tspChaat Masala
  • 1 no.Lemon

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Vegetable and Spice Base

    In a large mixing bowl, add the finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilli, and coriander leaves.

  2. 2.Add Seasonings

    To the bowl, add salt to taste, red chilli powder, and chaat masala powder.

  3. 3.Add Lemon Juice and Mix

    Squeeze the juice of one whole lemon over the ingredients. Mix everything together thoroughly until well combined.

  4. 4.Add Roasted Peanuts

    Add the roasted peanuts to the mixture and give it another good mix.

  5. 5.Add Puffed Rice

    Finally, add the puffed rice to the bowl.

  6. 6.Combine and Serve

    Gently toss all the ingredients together until the puffed rice is evenly coated with the masala mixture. Serve immediately.
