    Peel the sweet corn cobs. Cut each cob in half, then carefully cut each half lengthwise into quarters using a sharp knife to create the 'rib' shape.

  2. Fry the Corn Ribs

    Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Once hot, carefully place the corn ribs into the oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until they are crispy and golden brown, and have curled up, which should take about . Remove the fried corn ribs and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
