  13. Salt to taste
  14. Water 0.5 glass (approx. 100-120 ml)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Rajma

Soak 2 bowls of Rajma (kidney beans) overnight, then boil them until they are soft.

Step 2: Sauté Aromatics

In a pan, add 3 tablespoons of oil and heat it. Then add 1 tablespoon of Jeera (cumin seeds) and a few curry leaves. Let them splutter.

Step 3: Cook Onions

Add 1 finely chopped onion to the pan and cook until it turns golden brown.

Step 4: Add Spices

Add 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste, 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon of cumin powder, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, and 1 tablespoon of garam masala powder. Mix all the spices well with the onions and cook for .

Step 5: Cook Tomato Puree

Add 1 tomato puree to the mixture. Mix well and cook until the oil starts to separate from the masala.

Step 6: Combine with Rajma

Add the boiled Rajma to the pan. Add salt to taste and half a glass (approximately 100-120 ml) of water.

Step 7: Simmer the Curry

Mix everything thoroughly and let the Rajma Masala cook for , allowing the flavors to meld.

Step 8: Garnish and Serve

Garnish the Rajma Masala with some fresh cream and fresh coriander leaves. Your Rajma Masala is now ready to serve.
