Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.

  1. Heat Oil

Take one pan and pour 2 teaspoons of cooking oil. Heat it on the stove.

  2. Sauté Onions

Add the chopped onion to the hot oil. Then add salt to taste and about 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Fry well, stirring continuously, until the onions become translucent.

  3. Add Vegetables

Add the chopped potatoes and carrots to the pan. Mix them well with the onions and continue to fry until the vegetables are cooked and tender.

  4. Add Spices

Once the vegetables are tender, add 2 teaspoons of dry coconut powder and 1 teaspoon of chili powder. Mix everything thoroughly and fry for a few more minutes until the spices are well incorporated and the oil begins to separate. Ensure to add these spices when the curry is almost done to prevent them from sticking to the bottom.

  5. Serve

The potato and carrot fry is now ready. Dish it out into a serving bowl.
