Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.
Grate 200g of paneer into a mixing bowl. Add one finely chopped medium onion to the grated paneer.
Add salt to taste (approx. 1 tsp), garam masala (approx. 1 tsp), red chili powder (approx. 1 tsp), and kasuri methi (approx. 1 tsp) to the paneer and onion mixture.
Using a fork, thoroughly mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Ensure the spices are evenly distributed throughout the paneer mixture.
Take a small ball of pre-made whole wheat dough and flatten it slightly with a rolling pin to form a small disc. Place a generous portion of the prepared paneer filling in the center of the flattened dough. Carefully bring the edges of the dough together to seal the filling inside, forming a neat ball.
Dust the stuffed dough ball lightly with whole wheat flour. Gently roll it out into a circular paratha of desired thickness, ensuring the filling remains intact and does not spill out.
Heat a tawa (griddle) over medium-low heat. Once hot, carefully place the rolled paratha onto the tawa. Cook for about until small bubbles appear on the surface.
Drizzle or spread about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of ghee or oil over the top surface of the paratha. Flip the paratha and cook the other side for another . Apply ghee to this side as well.
Continue flipping the paratha every minute or so, pressing gently with a spatula, until both sides are golden brown and cooked through. The paratha should puff up slightly. Remove from the tawa and serve hot.
