Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.
Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan. Add the paneer cubes and 0.5 teaspoon of red chili powder. Fry the paneer until it turns golden brown on all sides.
After removing the fried paneer, add another 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to the same pan. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped bell peppers, carrots, and onions. Stir and cook for about on low flame, covered, until the vegetables are tender.
Uncover the pan and add the pureed onion, tomato, garlic, and ginger. Then add 0.5 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 0.5 teaspoon of red chili powder, and 0.5 teaspoon of garam masala. Mix everything well and fry until the oil separates from the masala, indicating it's well cooked.
Add 2 tablespoons of garam masala (previously dissolved in water) to the pan and mix thoroughly. Then, add the fried paneer cubes and salt to taste. Mix gently to combine all ingredients.
Cover the pan and let it for on low heat to allow the gravy to thicken and the flavors to meld. Uncover and stir.
Finally, garnish with freshly chopped coriander. Your Paneer Masala is now ready to serve.
