Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the pan
Heat a paniyaram pan and drizzle IDHAYAM sesame oil into each mold.
Step 2: Add dosa batter
Pour dosa batter into each mold, filling them about three-quarters full.
Step 3: Add toppings
Sprinkle chopped onion and chopped tomato evenly over the batter in each mold.
Step 4: Drizzle idli podi
Drizzle idli podi over the onion and tomato toppings for added flavor.
Step 5: Cook first side
Close the pan with a lid and cook on a low flame for until the bottom is golden brown.
Step 6: Cook second side
Open the lid, gently turn each uttappam to cook the other side. Drizzle a little more sesame oil if needed and cook for another until golden brown.
Step 7: Serve
Once both sides are cooked and golden, remove the onion tomato uttappams from the pan and serve hot with chutney for breakfast.
