Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pressure cooker. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds and 1 bay leaf. Then add 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of chopped ginger, and 1 chopped green chilli. for until fragrant.
Add 1 chopped onion and 2 dry chillies to the cooker. for on medium flame until the onions turn translucent.

Add 100 grams of toor dal (soaked for ) and 2 tablespoons of soaked moong dal to the cooker. Mix well with the ingredients. Pour in 2 cups of water and add salt to taste. Stir everything together.
Close the pressure cooker lid and cook for 4 whistles on medium flame. Allow the pressure to release naturally before opening the lid.
Once the pressure is released, open the cooker. Add fresh coriander leaves for garnish and mix well. The one-pot dal is now ready to serve.
