For Corn Flour Mixture

  • 2 TbspCorn Flour
  • 1/2 CupWater

For Mushroom Soup

  • 1 TspButter
  • 1 MediumOnion
  • 4 clovesChopped Garlic
  • 8 to 10 piecesChopped Mushroom
  • 3 CupsWater
  • as neededSalt
  • 1/2 TspPepper Powder
  • for garnishCoriander Leaves

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare Corn Flour Mixture

    In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of corn flour with 1/2 cup of water. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

  2. 2.Sauté Aromatics

    Heat 1 teaspoon of butter in a pan. Add 1 medium chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, approximately 2 minutes.

  3. 3.Add Garlic and Mushrooms

    Add 4 cloves of chopped garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute. Then, add 8 to 10 chopped mushrooms and sauté until they release their water and shrink in size, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4.Simmer the Soup

    Pour in 3 cups of water. Add salt as needed and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder. Mix everything well and bring the soup to a boil.

  5. 5.Thicken the Soup

    Once boiling, slowly add the prepared corn flour mixture while stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Simmer for 2 minutes until the soup thickens to your desired consistency.

  6. 6.Garnish and Serve

    Garnish the hot mushroom soup with fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately.
