Mince Filled Omelette – Neelo's Kitchen

For the Omelette

  • 4Eggs
  • 2 tbspMilk
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 1/4 tspChilli powder
  • 1/4 tspBlack pepper
  • 2 tbspChopped coriander

For Filling and Cooking

  • 2 tbspOil
  • 1/2 cupCooked mince
  • to tasteCheddar cheese
  • to tasteMozzarella cheese
  • for garnishFresh coriander
  • for drizzleSriracha sauce
  • for servingBread or paratha

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Egg Mixture

    In a measuring jug or bowl, whisk together 4 eggs, 2 tablespoons of milk, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander until well combined.

  2. 2.Cook the Omelette Base

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and let it cook until the edges are set and the bottom is golden brown, approximately 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3.Flip the Omelette

    Once the omelette has fried on one side, gently flip it over using a spatula to cook the other side for about 1 minute.

  4. 4.Add Mince and Cheese Filling

    Place the cooked mince onto one half of the omelette. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the mince.
