Soak one small bowl of rice in water for . Slice two small onions and keep one small bowl of green peas ready.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or kadhai. Once hot, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the sliced onions to the wok and until they turn golden brown.
Add the green peas to the onions and fry for . Then, add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of garam masala. Mix well.
