Pour 2 cups of water into a pan and bring it to a boil. Add 1 1/2 cups of sweet corn kernels to the boiling water. Allow the corn to boil for until tender. Once boiled, remove the corn from the water and keep aside in a bowl.
In the same pan, add butter as needed and melt it over low heat. Add the boiled sweet corn to the melted butter and stir until the corn kernels are well coated with butter. Switch off the stove.
To the butter-coated corn, add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 deseeded and chopped tomato, and fresh coriander leaves. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder, 1/4 teaspoon of Kashmiri chili powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of chat masala powder. Add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Stir all the ingredients thoroughly until the spices and vegetables are evenly coated on the corn. Ensure everything is well combined. The Masala Corn is now ready to be served.
