  • 1/4 cup, choppedFresh cilantro (coriander leaves)

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the tempering base

    Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds (around 0:00). Add curry leaves (around 0:01) and sauté briefly. Then, add chopped red onions (around 0:02) and sauté until translucent. Finally, add chopped tomatoes (around 0:03) and cook until they soften and the mixture comes together.
