Heat a griddle (tava) on medium heat. Pour a ladleful of the foxtail millet batter onto the griddle and spread it evenly in a circular motion to form a dosa. Add a few drops of oil around the edges. Cook until golden brown and crispy. Fold the dosa and remove it from the griddle.
Serve the healthy foxtail millet idlis and dosas hot with sambar and chutney.

After 12 hours, the batter should be nicely fermented and frothy. Add 1 tsp of salt and 1/4 cup of water to the fermented batter. Mix it nicely until well combined. The foxtail idli batter is now ready.
