Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Egg Mixture

Break one egg into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of milk, 1 chopped green chili, 2 tablespoons of chopped green coriander, 1/4 chopped onion, 1 teaspoon of crushed red chilies, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix all these ingredients well until combined.

Step 2: Prepare the Bread

Take two pieces of bread. Using a knife, carefully cut out a square from the middle of each bread slice, creating a bread frame. Remove the inner square piece.

Step 3: Cook the First Egg Toast

Heat a frying pan and add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Grease the frying pan well using a brush. Place one bread frame in the frying pan. Pour half of the prepared egg batter into the square opening of the bread frame. Immediately place the cut-out bread square on top of the egg batter.

Step 4: Flip and Cook

Cook for about until the bottom side is golden brown and the egg starts to set. Carefully flip the bread using a spatula and cook the other side for another until golden brown and the egg is fully cooked.

Step 5: Cook the Second Egg Toast

Remove the first from the pan. Add another tablespoon of cooking oil to the frying pan. Place the second bread frame in the pan and pour the remaining egg batter into the opening. Place the second cut-out bread square on top of the egg batter. Cook for about , then flip and cook for another until both sides are golden brown and the egg is cooked.

Step 6: Serve

Once the second egg is ready, remove it from the pan. Serve the delicious bread hot.

Pro Tips

• Adjust the amount of green chilies and red chilies according to your spice preference.

• Ensure the pan is well-greased to prevent sticking and achieve even browning.

• Pressing the top bread slice gently helps the egg mixture adhere better and cook evenly.

Variations

• Add other finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers or tomatoes to the egg mixture.

• Use whole wheat bread for a healthier option.

• Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper or chaat masala for extra flavor.
