Ingredients

Egg Mixture

  • 1Egg
  • 1 tbspMilk
  • 1, choppedGreen chili
  • 2 tbsp, choppedGreen coriander
  • 1/4, choppedOnion
  • 1 tspRed chilies (crushed)
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspSalt

  • 2Bread slices
  • 2 tbspCooking oil

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare the Egg Mixture

    Break one egg into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of milk, 1 chopped green chili, 2 tablespoons of chopped green coriander, 1/4 chopped onion, 1 teaspoon of crushed red chilies, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix all these ingredients well until combined.

  2. 2.Prepare the Bread

    Take two pieces of bread. Using a knife, carefully cut out a square from the middle of each bread slice, creating a bread frame. Remove the inner square piece.

  3. 3.Cook the First Egg Toast

    Heat a frying pan and add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Grease the frying pan well using a brush. Place one bread frame in the frying pan. Pour half of the prepared egg batter into the square opening of the bread frame. Immediately place the cut-out bread square on top of the egg batter.

  4. 4.Flip and Cook

    Cook for about 2 minutes until the bottom side is golden brown and the egg starts to set. Carefully flip the bread toast using a spatula and cook the other side for another 2 minutes until golden brown and the egg is fully cooked.

  5. 5.Cook the Second Egg Toast

    Remove the first toast from the pan. Add another tablespoon of cooking oil to the frying pan. Place the second bread frame in the pan and pour the remaining egg batter into the opening. Place the second cut-out bread square on top of the egg batter. Cook for about 2 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the egg is cooked.

  6. 6.Serve

    Once the second egg toast is ready, remove it from the pan. Serve the delicious bread toasts hot.
