Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Pour Milk into Pot

Pour 1 liter of milk into a heavy-bottomed pot and place it on a stove over medium heat.

Step 2: Boil the Milk

Stir the milk occasionally with a ladle to prevent it from sticking to the bottom. Bring the milk to a rolling boil, which should take about .

Step 3: Add Semolina

Once the milk is boiling, gradually add 4-5 tablespoons of semolina (rava) while continuously stirring to prevent lumps from forming. Continue stirring for about until the semolina is cooked and the mixture begins to thicken.

Step 4: Add Sugar

Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to the thickened semolina mixture. Stir well until the sugar completely dissolves, which may cause the mixture to thin slightly.

Step 5: Add Cardamom Powder

Add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder to the pudding and mix thoroughly to combine the flavors.

Step 6: Thicken and Serve

Continue cooking and stirring for another until the pudding reaches your desired thick and creamy consistency. Remove from heat and serve warm or chilled.

Pro Tips

• Stir the milk frequently while boiling to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

• Add semolina gradually while stirring vigorously to prevent lumps from forming.

• Adjust the amount of sugar according to your preference.

• Serve warm for a comforting dessert or chill it for a refreshing treat.

Variations

• Add a pinch of saffron strands soaked in warm milk for added color and fragrance.

• Incorporate chopped nuts like almonds, pistachios, or cashews for extra crunch and flavor.

• For a richer pudding, use full-fat milk or add a tablespoon of condensed milk along with the sugar.
