Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1.Prepare Chives and Nut Mixture

    Finely chop the fresh chives. Separately, finely chop the dried cranberries, pistachios, and cashews together on a cutting board.

  2. 2.Combine Cream Cheese Mixture

    In a bowl, combine the cream cheese with the finely chopped chives and two spoonfuls of the chopped nut and dried fruit mixture. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  3. 3.Shape and Chill the Log

    Spread the cream cheese mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Carefully roll the mixture into a tight cylindrical log shape using the plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow it to firm up and maintain its shape.

  4. 4.Coat the Log

    Once chilled, unwrap the cream cheese log and roll it in the remaining chopped nut and dried fruit mixture until it is completely coated on all sides.

  5. 5.Serve

    Transfer the coated cream cheese log to a serving plate. Drizzle with honey just before serving. Enjoy with crackers or toasted bread.
