Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.
In a bowl, combine 500 gms of curry cut chicken with bones. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 3/4 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1.5 tsp kasuri methi, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 3 cut green chilies, 1 large (100 gms) sliced onion, 4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, and 2 tbsp oil.
Thoroughly mix all the ingredients with the chicken until every piece is well coated. Set the chicken aside for to allow the flavors to meld.
Heat 2-3 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add 4 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks, and 3 cardamom pods. Stir for a few seconds until fragrant.
Carefully add the chicken pieces to the hot oil in the pan.
Fry the chicken for on medium heat until lightly browned on one side.
Flip all the chicken pieces to cook the other side. Continue to fry for another on medium heat.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook the chicken for on low heat, allowing it to cook through and release its juices.
After , remove the lid, flip all the chicken pieces again, then cover and cook for another on low heat.
Once the chicken is tender and cooked, remove the lid and add 3 tbsp of chopped coriander. Mix well to combine the fresh herbs with the chicken.
