  12. Water 200 ml

    • 3 tbsp dried minced onion
    • Shallots or leeks (1:1)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Sauté Onions

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add 2 chopped onions and sauté for until they turn translucent and lightly golden.

Step 2: Add Ginger and Garlic

Add 1 teaspoon of crushed ginger and 1 teaspoon of crushed garlic to the pan. Sauté for until fragrant.

Step 3: Cook Tomatoes and Green Chillies

Add 2 chopped tomatoes and 2 chopped green chillies to the mixture. Sauté for until the tomatoes start to soften.

Step 4: Add Turmeric Powder

Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder into the pan. Continue to sauté for , stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and oil begins to separate.

Step 5: Add Chicken

Add 500 grams of chicken pieces to the pan. Cook for , stirring to coat the chicken with the masala, until the chicken changes color.
