Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.
Select a few straight bananas. Peel the bananas and cut off the brown ends from both sides.
Insert a small skewer through the center of each banana, starting from one end. For better stability, insert a second skewer just above the first one, ensuring both skewers run parallel through the banana. This makes it easy to handle the banana without it slipping.
For one banana, use a fork to spread creamy peanut butter evenly over its entire surface. Once coated, gently sprinkle sesame seeds over the peanut butter, ensuring good coverage.
For another banana, place natural unsweetened cocoa powder into a tea strainer. Hold the banana over a clean surface and shake the strainer to evenly dust the banana with cocoa powder. Flip the banana and repeat until fully coated.
Place the coated bananas on a plate. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice each banana into bite-sized pieces, resembling sushi rolls. You can adjust the thickness of the slices to your preference.
Your banana sushi is now ready to be served. You can use skewers as makeshift chopsticks to pick up and enjoy the pieces.
