Follow each step to make the recipe successfully.
Take 300g chicken pieces and them with ginger garlic paste, salt, and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder. Let it for .
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a tawa. Add crushed garlic (from 1 pod, approximately 5-6 cloves) and fry until it turns light brown.
Add 1 bowl of finely chopped onions to the tawa and fry until they become light brown. Then, add 5-6 finely chopped green chilies and a few curry leaves. Continue to fry.
Add salt to taste to the mixture and mix well. Next, add 1 bowl of finely chopped tomatoes and fry until they soften.
Add 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp jeera powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, and 2 tsp chili powder to the tawa.
Add a little water to the spices and fry the masala mixture until the oil separates and the mixture is well combined and fragrant.
Add the chicken pieces to the tawa. Mix the chicken thoroughly with the masala. Cover the tawa with a lid and let it cook for to allow the flavors to meld and the chicken to tenderize.
Remove the lid. The chicken should be cooked through and the oil should have separated. Stir the chicken again. Finally, garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and give it one last mix.
Serve the spicy tawa chicken hot, garnished with fresh green chilies, tomato slices, and carrot slices as desired.
