Adjust servings

All Ingredients - Main Ingredients

  1. Dosa batter 1 cup
  2. Oil 1 tbsp

All Ingredients - Toppings

  1. Grated carrot 2 tbsp
  2. Finely chopped onion 2 tbsp
  3. Green chili 1 (finely chopped, optional)
  4. Tomato sauce for serving

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Heat Oil

First, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Step 2: Pour Dosa Batter

Pour small ladles of dosa batter onto the hot pan to create mini dosa circles. You can make about 6-8 mini dosas at a time, depending on your pan size.

Step 3: Add Toppings

Immediately sprinkle 2 tablespoons of grated carrot, 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion, and 1 finely chopped green chili (optional) over each mini dosa.

Step 4: Steam the Dosas

Cover the pan with a lid and steam for on medium heat until the dosas are cooked through and the toppings are slightly softened.

Step 5: Flip and Cook

Remove the lid and carefully flip each mini dosa. Cook for another until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.

Step 6: Serve

Transfer the mini dosa bites to a serving plate. Top each dosa with a dollop of tomato sauce and serve hot with your favorite chutney.

Pro Tips

• Skip green chili if serving to young children.

• Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
