Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dosa Batter

In a bowl, add 1 cup of wheat flour and salt to taste. Mix the dry ingredients well using a whisk.

Step 2: Mix with Water

Gradually add water to the flour mixture while continuously whisking to ensure there are no lumps. Continue mixing until you achieve a thick, flowing consistency for the dosa batter.

Step 3: Pour Dosa on Tawa

Heat a nonstick tawa on medium flame. Pour a ladleful of dosa batter onto the hot tawa and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.

Step 4: Cook and Flip

Drizzle some oil around the edges and on top of the dosa. Cook until the bottom side turns golden brown and crispy. Then, carefully flip the dosa over to the other side.

Step 5: Roast Other Side

Roast the other side of the dosa for about until it also turns golden brown and crispy.

Step 6: Serve Hot

Once both sides are cooked to a crispy golden brown, remove the dosa from the tawa. Serve the crispy wheat dosa hot.
