Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Tawa

Heat a dosa tawa (griddle) on medium flame. Add a few drops of oil and rub half an onion over the tawa to grease it evenly.

Step 2: Spread Dosa Batter

Pour one ladle of dosa batter (ragi dosa batter was used in the video) onto the center of the tawa. Using the back of the ladle, spread the batter evenly in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.

Step 3: Add Toppings

Immediately sprinkle grated boiled egg (from 1 egg) evenly over the dosa. Then, add chopped onion, chopped green chilies, and chopped coriander leaves.

Step 4: Season the Dosa

Sprinkle red chili powder, chaat masala, salt (to taste), and garam masala over the toppings.

Step 5: Cook the Dosa

Drizzle about 1 teaspoon of oil around the edges of the dosa. Cook on a low flame for , or until the dosa is crispy and golden brown at the bottom.

Step 6: Fold and Serve

Once cooked, carefully fold the dosa in half using a spatula. Transfer the protein-rich Boiled Egg Dosa to a plate and serve hot.
